Experiencing Success Through Weight Loss Motivation

Losing weight can be challenging... weight loss motivation can make it much easier.

Below you can find information on how to build your personal motivation and also Tips for making your weight loss journey successful and enjoyable.

How Building Personal Motivation Will Help You Achieve Your Goal

Can you relate to one of these scenarios?

You've been dieting successfully for 2-3 months (losing pounds and inches), and then, all of a sudden it all goes wrong and you're back to square 1.

Or, you see the "latest" eating plan on TV. The "Super Guru" jumps around with such excitement because they've found "it”, that magical new way to lose weight. Their euphoria gets you to buy. Regrettably, in a few weeks it joins the stack of "new" programs in the closet.

Please don't feel bad, millions fall into the same traps. But you can break free . How? By building your weight loss motivation.

Exercises for Building Your Motivation:

    1. Build your self-esteem. You must love yourself before you can truly love others.

How do you see yourself? Ugly, fat, lazy, worthless...

Exercise- Confess each day when you wake up

      • I am beautiful because I am made in the image of God.
      • I am valuable because I am created with a purpose.
      • I am precious because I am an original masterpiece, there has never been anyone like me.

2. Believe you can achieve your goal.

Does your mind think of countless reasons you won't succeed? Get your mind working for you, instead of against you.

Exercise- Confess each morning "I can achieve (your goal)."

3. Set achievable goals. Experts agree, for healthy and sustainable weight loss, 2-3 pounds a week works best.

The reason? It allows your body to lose body fat rather than muscle. So you maintain a healthy, toned appearance.

Tips for Making Your Weight Loss Journey Easier

1. Weigh yourself only once a week. Please stay out of the trap of weighing yourself each day.

Weighing yourself in the morning (before breakfast) works best because eating or drinking can skew your results.

2. "It Takes a Team to Achieve a Dream". Find a partner (husband, boyfriend, friend) to enjoy the journey with. Achieving your goals together can be a tremendous bonding experience. Also, having someone to encourage you through the “tough days” can make all the difference.

On the other hand, if you can't find a partner, Weight Watchers, or LA Weight Loss could be a good substitute. They have proven plans to help you achieve your target weight while supporting you emotionally.

Best Idea- Have a partner and do Weight Watchers/LA Weight Loss together !

3. Motivational tapes. Listening to motivational speakers like Zig Ziglar, Joel Olsteen, or even Tony Robbins, will increase your own “inner” enthusiasm and make achieving your target weight much easier.

To your success!
