The Story of Safe Weight Lifting for Women

Hello, my name is Chris. I am the creator of Safe Weight Lifting for Women. I live on a family farm in rural Minnesota, USA.

The story of this website started 22 years ago when I began working out. I started exercising at 13 and was hooked. My dream was to become a champion bodybuilder.

As time went on, I realized I didn't have the talent for bodybuilding, but I still loved working out. I moved on, and worked for 3 years as a personal trainer. I enjoyed it, but it just wasn't my thing.

This was a tough time for me. I loved exercise, I just didn't know how I could make a living from it.

About this time, my family needed help on our family's farm. I moved back home to help out. I love animals and living in the country. The problem? They couldn't afford to pay me much.

I began looking for ways to start a home-based business in my free time. I'm embarrassed to admit I wasted $1,000's on get-rich-quick scams. I eventually found network marketing. Again, I wasted $1,000's with little to nothing to show for it.

The biggest problem was cost. I had to pay $300+ month to market the company and also to buy "mandatory" product each month from the company. After 6 months I was $2,000 poorer.

I started looking at the internet and using Google adsense to sell other people's products. They called it "bid slinging". I would place an ad on Google. If a person clicked on it, it would bring them to Amazon.com or another online retailer. If a person bought, I would receive a commission. It is a good way to lose a lot of money - very quickly.

In 2 months I invested $1,200 and made $100 in commissions.

However, in the process I learned a lot about how the internet works. I learned that instead of paying to have people go to someone else's website, I needed to build my own. But how? I didn't know anything about building a website - and I really didn't want to know .

I tried a few services that would build a website for me. They were quick and easy, but they had 1 gigantic flaw, I still had to buy traffic (visitors). Results? $100's a month on advertising with no sales.

At this point I was ready to give up.

One day as I was surfing, I was blessed to run across a listing on Google for Site Build It!. What they offered was different than the other programs. They would show me how to build a website that would get traffic from the search engines (free) instead of having to pay for it.

The best part? I didn't need to know anything about building a website. All I needed to have was a passion/hobby and to write about it. SBI takes care of everything else.

The initial investment for Site Build It! is $300 year - everything included. I was reluctant to go forward with it, but having a fixed amount of $300 a year was a big improvement over investing $100 a month on advertising. In addition, SBI offers a full (no questions asked) refund at any time.

2 years have past and Safe Weight Lifting for Women has paid for itself 10 times over.

More importantly, SBI has empowered me to turn my passion into a business.

Questions people frequently ask me

How much are you making?

Safe Weight Lifting for Women earns between $400, all the way up to $1,400 a month. We make money through Google Adsense and also through recommending products from Overstock, Amazon, and Bigfitness.

How much time does it take?

    I invest 10-12 hours a week.

How long did it take before you started to make money?

I wish I could say it only took a few months (doing it part-time), but I really didn’t buckle down in the beginning. For me, it took around 9 months before Safe Weight Lifting for Women had enough traffic to “monetize”.

Is it easy to do?

Yes and no. Yes it is fairly easy, but it does take time and effort.

Could I do it?

Yes. Turning your knowledge/hobbie into a business is very possible.
