Ron @ 60 years

by Ron Lee
(Brantford, Ont, Canada)

I bought my Bowflex about five years ago and use it when my back gets bad; having a bad back was one of the reasons for buying it in the first place. Of course, I got busy when my back was feeling ok so I let my program lapse.

Now that I have re-retired ( no more odd-jobbing ) I found my back killing me. Three weeks ago, after putting down a floor for my daughter - the major cause for my painful back, I started back on the Bowflex and already the muscle has strengthened up so that the pain in my back is very subtle and for the most part, I don't feel any of the debilitating pain I had three weeks ago.

I have had a very active sports life so consider myself familiar enough with training routines and basically keep it simple and varied enough to prevent boredom but get the results I need quickly.

I've had a similar experience
by: Anonymous

I've been working out for 20+ years. I went to college for a couple of years and then moved back to the family farm to help.

I figured I wouldn't need to workout anymore because of all the hard work I was doing. But, my back kept going out on me.

I bought a Bowflex and started working out again. My overall strength is much improved and I haven't had any back problems. In fact, I fell 16ft. (landed on my feet), but didn't suffer any major injuries. I think working out on my Bowflex really helped.
