My Total Gym 14000 Experience

I bought my Total Gym 14000 just a few months ago, and I have to admit that I was pretty skeptical at first. I’m skeptical of anything sold on TV infomercials, to be honest. The Total Gym 14000 has been a pleasant surprise for me, though.
First off, I’m very happy with the way the device is put together. It feels sturdy, and all the movements are “natural.” Nothing feels clunky or uncomfortable for me, and I’m not worried about it breaking. In other words, it’s not just a cheap, flimsy piece of equipment that will die on you in a month or so. I’m also very please with the range of movements I can do on the Total Gym, and I really do feel like I can get a reasonable total-body workout fairly quickly. Of course, the Total Gym is not going to replace everything that you can do in a regular gym. That said, it’s a great alternative if you don’t have the time or money to join a gym, or if you feel you won’t really be committed. One advantage the Total Gym has is that it’s easy to store, and easy to set up in the comfort of your own home, so if you think that the drive time to get to an exercise facility might deter you, the Total Gym might be good for you, because it’s right there in your living room (or basement, or wherever!)
For me, the Total Gym 14000 is exactly what it’s advertised to be, and has fit in quite well in my home. It’s great to be able to do a quick, but effective, workout without ever having to leave the house!
