My Bowflex Ultimate 2 Home Gym Review

by Richard B.
(Portland, OR, USA)

I purchased my Bowflex Ultimate 2 home gym about a month ago and I have to say that it is a decent investment if you are looking to get into shape. It is convenient considering that you don't need to leave the house or go to a gym to get a good workout.

The Bowflex Ultimate 2 definitely has enough exercises and if you feel that you don't have enough, there are equipment add-ons that can be purchased to add even more Bowflex exercises. The machine is very versatile and provides workouts to every muscle in your body.

I think that the Bowflex lives up to its promise because you get what you see on the commercials and online. There's no real gimmick here and the machines are honest and reliable. It gives you a large range of resistance and although I am not the strongest guy around, I would venture to say that it is very difficult even for very strong people to lift all of the resistance. Again, I believe there are add-ons that can be purchased that will increase the resistance.

I would recommend buying the Bowflex Ultimate 2 home gym to anyone who is willing to spend the money. It is kind of a lot of money, however the machine is high quality and it is a trusted name. The exercises suit anyone's needs and it can all be done at home. The only thing that cannot be done on Bowflex's are cardio workouts which I think is important. If you can find a way to do cardio, or maybe you have a treadmill at home, then there will be no need to worry about that.
