How My Tony Little Gazelle gave me hope

I used to be a college volley ball player at a big University in west Texas. For me it was a dream come true to be a college athlete and I was always determined to stay in good health and to keep my body fit! However when I became a senior in college my dream of being a college athlete came to an end when I had to end my playing career halfway through the season with a torn ACL (accruciate ligament) in my left knee. After 8 months of rehab treatments and training I was able to walk again without a brace. Since my college career as an athlete had ended, I decided to put more emphasis into my relationship with my boyfriend and we soon got married. Growing up as an athlete I was always fit and had no problem keeping my figure. My curves were always in the right places and my pre motherhood metabolism was always helpful.
So everything in my home life was great. I really enjoyed being married and being a mother to 3 wonderful children. Two boys and one lovely daughter. About six years after I graduated from college I noticed it was almost time for my 10 year high school reunion. Around this time I actually started noticing that my figure was not quite what it had been and being a mother had actually taken its toll on my body. I was always known for having a nice body and taking care of my health in high school, so I didn’t want to show up to my high school reunion looking the way I was (about 58 lbs. heavier than in high school). So at this point I had about 6 months to get ready to see everyone I hadn’t seen in 10 years. I went and got a gym membership and tried the step aerobics class, but then my bad knee started hurting terribly + I had to drag my kids to the gym with me and it seemed to be really inconvenient. If step aerobics hurt my knee too much then running was definitely out of the question. So I actually purchased a “Tony Little Gazelle’ which I had seen on an infomercial. It was wonderful not only did I lose 55lbs. By the time my high school reunion came around, it gave me hope in staying fit after it had been lost. I had also found a way of working out at home without really disturbing my kid’s routine. Thank you Tony Little!
