leg presses or aerobic rowing.
Instead, the Extreme allows you to do squats. Though squats can be a more effective exercise, they can also be more difficult to do.
Both squats and leg presses enable you to train multiple muscle groups in 1 exercise.
Unlike leg extensions, which only exercise your quadriceps (front of the thighs), doing squats or leg presses enables you to train your hamstrings amd glutes, in addition to your quadriceps - all in one exercise.
