Bowflex Treadclimber - My Knees Are Thanking Me

by Allie
(Seattle)

My Bowflex Treadclimber Story - It was nearing the colder and rainier part of the year when I decided I needed to invest in an indoor treadmill. I may be a runner, but I am not so die hard that I will brave the elements once winter rolls around. Especially not in the rainy city of Seattle. I researched a bit online and ended up purchasing a Bowflex TreadClimber machine.

Although any treadmill you buy is going to take up a significant amount of space, not losing all of my endurance that I spent all spring and summer building up was more than worth it. With my Bowflex Tread climber it is like you have stair stepping combined with walking. At least that is how I use it even though it is actually more versatile then I venture into.

So far I have lost 30 pounds this winter with the Bowflex TreadClimber and I am only 5 pounds away from my goal. The best thing about it is my knees no longer hurt from the impact of jogging on pavement since I switched to the Bowflex. I hadn’t realized how much of a jolt pavement can deliver to your body even with the right running shoes. Because my knees feel better than ever, come spring once again, I doubt I will be leaving my TreadClimber for the pavement.
